Two men were arrested in Austria for Amphetamine

The two are to be sent to prison. They are beeing accused for re-selling large quantities of amphetamine drugs which they were procuring on the dark web.

The 27 and 28 years old males from the city of Tyrol admitted they were importing, distributing and selling whole kilos of this dangerous substances.

Court was gathared on June 16 2021 and the younger man said the court he first thought to start this ,,business'' of drug selling because of the Covid-19 situation. The whole world was in lockdown and he could not purchase the drugs from a local dealer so he thought he would get them online and then simply resell them. He placed the order for a single kilogram online and had it shipped the his friend's house address using of course a fake name.

It all went great for some time untill one day when the man that should have picked up the package wasn't home and the package returned to the courier distribution center and while they tried to pick it up from there, it was allready returned to the sender. Authorities in Germany got a hold of the package, opened it and found the kilo of amphetamine inside and then informed the austrian police which obviously raided their address and it resulted in both of them beeing arrested.

The total amount the suspects bought overtime was over 4 kilos and they managed to resell 70% of that amount.

The 28 years old boy told the court that he had no idead that what he was picking up were drugs, he was getting paid 4k EURO to get the parcels and then hand them over to the younger boy.
The judge, after listening to their confessions rulled for a four years in prison sentence for the 28 years old man and four and a half years for the 27 years old man.
